The Celeris® brand of products are designed specifically for fume-hood intensive, high-level containment and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and protects researchers and safeguards the integrity of a research environment in critical control environments while offering optimum energy efficiency.

Leveraging the proven accuracy, stability and reliability of the Phoenix Controls Accel® II venturi valve, the Celeris system provides a flexible and feature rich solution for all your airflow and climate control needs. The Celeris environmental control system integrates seamlessly with BACnet capable Building Management Systems. Available with electric or pneumatic actuation, the Celeris valve mounted controller leverages LonWorks technology to create a peer-to-peer control network capable of performing sophisticated control strategies. Input and output connections on each valve controller provide sufficient I/O for connecting sensors and actuators.

- Zone Balance Control: Provides superior ventilation and pressurization control by monitoring and controlling all networked and non-network flow devices in the pressurization zone. Advanced control features are built in:
- Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Control – decrease air change rate when air quality is good to reduce energy consumption. Increase air change rates if air quality deteriorates
- Return air control – vary the ratio of 100% exhaust to return air based on indoor air quality

Poorly performing pressurized spaces drive a facility’s utility costs higher than it needs to be. Many research universities find that anywhere between one half and two-thirds of their annual utility expenses is spent on their laboratory buildings. The solution is a pressure independent flow metering valve such as the Accel® II venturi valve by Phoenix Controls. The Accel® II venturi valve is the most accurate airflow control valve in the market today. There are multiple reasons for its high degree of accuracy including:

Trinity Automated Solutions recognizes the challenges with integration and offers solutions that are both flexible in deployment and cost effective. Both centralized and distributed integration architectures are offered. Our centralized integration solution allows the facility to reduce Ethernet IP connections, saving potentially thousands of dollars every year for IP connection maintenance. The distributed integration solution eliminates a single point of integration, which allows the commissioning of spaces one at a time. Both solutions are cost effective, allowing for more data to be integrated to the BMS to support various initiatives to reduce utility spend and maintenance downtime.
A key component of the research laboratory is the fume hood. Selecting and maintaining proper face velocity at the fume hood is a key concern for laboratory users. The consequences of incorrect face velocity include:.

These products help ensure the fume hood is safe to use, and to warn users of energy waste conditions. For example, the ZPS monitors if anyone is standing in front of the fume hood and if it senses no one, and the sash is raised above a specified height, the Sentry fume hood display will alert lab users of an energy waste condition. By changing the behaviors of users to lower their sash when not using the fume hood, the portfolio of fume hood controls allows campuses to achieve energy savings.
Trinity Automated Solutions offers multiple application specific valve-mounted controllers that are designed for pressurized spaces. - Automatic GEX shut-off in lab spaces can be configured for energy savings (requires replacing GEX valve with a shut-off valve)
- Hibernation mode allows hood valves to be driven to the minimum valve flow when not in use (requires fume hood monitor upgrade to FHM631-ENG)
All Valve upgrade kits include: Vpots, enclosures, control boards, actuators, and either links or reversing arms to fully retrofit the valve in place, in the field. Kits are also offered with a three-year extended warranty covering all replacement parts.

The Phoenix Controls APM II, combined with temperature and humidity sensors, enable a building owner to monitor these variables. In addition to offering room level control these products are available for integration with the building management system.
The View Monitor combines a modern design, and 7” touch screen, with the ability to display data and edit setpoints in a BACnet MS/TP network interface. The View can display such critical data as Air Changes per Hour, Room Occupancy, Room Offset, temperature and has the capability to display custom messages, all in a flush mounted tablet.
